HAVEN IS A SAFE ROOM

DO YOU FEEL ALONE?

   

       I HAVE TO ASK YOU THIS QUESTION DO YOU FEEL ALONE? DO YOU FEEL THAT YOU HAVE NO ONE IN YOUR CORNER? MANY PEOPLE DO AT TIMES I KNOW I DO, BUT ITS IMPORTANT TO HAVE A SUPPORT SYSTEM. SOMEONE THERE TO CHEER YOU ON AND TO LOOK OUT FOR YOU WHEN TIMES GET ROUGH? I LOOK AT THIS MAN IN THE PICTURE AND I SEE HE IS TORMENTED BY HIS OWN DEMONS. HE IS A MAN THAT IS STUCK IN A MENTAL PRISON OF HELL. ALL HE FEELS IS HOPELESSNESS AND DESPAIR; MAYBE HE HAS TO MANY BILLS TO PAY AND HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, MAYBE HE HAS JUST LOST HIS JOB AND HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW HE IS GOING TO SUPPORT HIS FAMILY, MAYBE HE HAS LOST SOMEONE VERY CLOSE TO HIM AND HE IS FEELING THAT PAIN OF LOSS, AND MAYBE JUST MAYBE HE HAS JUST GIVEN UP AND IS DEFEATED IN SPIRIT.

         LET ME TELL YOU A STORY ABOUT THIS MAN. HE IS A SIMPLE MAN FROM A RURAL COMMUNITY AND HAS DONE NOTHING, BUT CONSTRUCTION AND MINING MOST OF HIS LIFE. HE WAS GIVEN NOTICE THAT THERE WAS NO MORE WORK FOR HIM TO DO AND TO TAKE A LOWER PAYING JOB TO SURVIVE. THIS MAN FEELS LOST ALONE DEFEATED AND ANGRY.

         THE MAN ABOVE WAS NOT A HAVEN HELPER. HE DID NOT HAVE A SUPPORT SYSTEM TO KEEP NOT ONLY HIS BODY BUT HIS MIND CLEAR AS WELL. THE PICTURE OF THE COUPLE WHO ARE HAVEN'S HELPERS ARE WORKING TOGETHER SUPPORTING EACH OTHER IN THEIR WORST TIMES AND TIMES OF NEED. 

         BEING A HAVEN HELPER LEARNING ALL THESE NEW SKILLS THAT WILL ONE DAY SAVE YOUR LIFE AND HELP YOU TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN GO IT ALONE WHEN THE SHUMER HITS THE FAN YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN. HAND IN HAND, ONE BY ONE YOUR TEAM WILL GET YOU THROUGH.
