This
exchange of ideas is between two ladies about religion today in the world. Josephina
is 43 years old of Greek descent who works in trucking in St. Louis. Sonya is 39 years old from Thailand who is
employed in the food industry in LA.
Question 1: How
do you feel that religion is looked upon today compared to 1950?
Sonya: The
teaching in our public schools and the displays in our public places has no
place for religion in today’s society. It is great to see the books changing
and religious images and writing taken out of the public eye.
Josephina:
This country was founded on the word of God and needs to be still
practiced. It seems that a small
minority is trying to change all references to religion made in the last 200+
years on which our country was founded.
Question 2:
Do you believe that the Bible is the Word of God or work of fiction?
Josephina:
The Bible is the Word of God as it is written.
To think that the world was created by evolution is the complete idea of
a work of fiction. It is hard to
comprehend a piece of mud learning how to fly.
Sonya: How
can you believe that a Divine Being (God) created the world, universe? Where did the dinosaurs come from? How can you tell me that Noah had T Rex on
the Ark. We must believe that the earth is millions of years old.
Question 3:
Where is your soul going after you leave this earth?
Sonya: There
is no place to go. Our bodies will be
recycled and we will become part of the Earth.
There is no God we must all make our own destiny.
Josephina:
By the grace of God I will be going to Heaven.
Anyone who does not believe in Heaven will be going to (HELL). Where Are
